This little overhead racer for the Aladdin game enhancer is astoundingly good! Fun is the name of this game, as you choose between nine toy vehicles and 32 unique tracks! The diminuitive vehicles include sports cars, 4x4 trucks, speedboats, choppers, and even tanks that fire shells! Micro Machine's imaginative tracks include a sandy beach, a pool table, and a kitchen table with a track made of Cheerios. I love how the speedy cars jump ramps and bounce realistically. The addicting one-player mode challenges you to beat three computer-controlled racers on each track, and learning the track layouts goes a long way towards winning. In the two-player mode, both players share the same screen and one player scores when the other can't keep up and falls out of view. Fast, fun, and easy to play, Micro Machines is always a good time.

If you're looking for a great racing game on your Sega Master System then you need not look any further than Micro Machines. The game's overhead perspective works best on this type of hardware, and it features tons of different courses and locations to race on. Best of all, this is an exciting two player racing game, which is more than you can say about most racers on the 8-bit Master System. It's not without a few problems, but Micro Machines is a must buy for anybody who loves racing games and their Master System.

Here's a game that not only strays farther from traditional racing games than any of these other titles, but it's also one of the most unique racing carts around, period. It may not interest die-hard racing fanatics, but it's nonetheless the most interesting game of the bunch.

Micro Machines is a small game in size but big on quality of gameplay and production. For the fans of the game, who have already finished all the tracks, Codemasters has already anticipated a sequel naturally called Micro Machines 2 which should be out some time in 1995!

It's just probably me. I really like this game too much. It's just playing with micro machines in "real life"! If you are looking to settle a bet with your friend, try playing this game. I'm sure you'll be the king of the party once you show off your elite skills. Maybe John Moscheitta Jr should have advertised this game and used his 750 words/min to get everyone to buy it!

In den USA erschien das Spiel in einer goldenen Cardridge, in Europa als schwarzes Modul und als Plug Thru-Spiel. In dieser Version ist das Spiel in einer Cardridge, wie sie auch das Game Genie besitzt, erschienen und wird mit einem anderen aufgesteckten Modul in den Konsolenschacht geschoben.

You won't need the refined taste of a video game veteran to appreciate the quality of Micro Machines. The two-player, one-Game Gear mode may not be perfect, but it use's the hardware in an extremely creative fashion, which should always be encouraged.

Overall Micro Machines can be quite tedious after a while in the single-player mode, but it's the two-player mode in which it really shines. It will be playable forever with a friend, in my opinion. I'm still playing this game on a regular basis fourteen years after it was released on the Mega Drive, and it was really popular in its heyday. Personally my favourite stage is the pool table with the Formula 1 cars but they really are excellent it has to be said I know this game is a bit inferior when compared with the 2, Turbo Tournament '96, and Military; but this was the beginning of the great franchise so it deserves respect for the standards it set all those years ago. This game is a credit to Codemasters and as they say in the Micro Machines intro "ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!" - and they got it spot on.

This game is really a lot of fun! I love the overhead perspective and inventive race courses! We;ve seen radio-control car races and now micro cars! true, as a kid I loved miniature cars and racing them with my friends, but I don't think that influenced my decision...

Bon, c'est sûr, c'est pas le soft du siècle, c'est pas LE jeu de sa catégorie. Disons qu'il est le bienvenue à un moment où l'on est saturé de softs sur CD-Rom hyper compliqué avec une doc de 400 pages. Là, on joue tout de suite et sans prise de tête. Un soft rafraîchissant qui sort au bon moment.

Det ser inte mycket ut för världen, det här spelet, och man blir inte så imponerad vid en första anblick. Men ger man spelet en kvart blir man obönhörligen fast.

The crisp, colorful graphics are functional, but appear a bit sparse at times. Micro Machines doesn't make an effort to be 3D, but there are a lot of "bumps" that make your car appear to "hop" thanks to some clever shadowing effects. Except for the tanks, there are no weapons or power-ups, but that simplicity is actually refreshing in a way. There's a single-player "challenge mode", and while it certainly is a challenge, there's no score to gauge your performance, which limits its replay value. To get the most out of Micro Machines you need to hook up the multi-tap for some four-player head-to-head action. Players who know the tracks have a marked advantage however, since you can't see too far ahead and it's hard to react to turns when you don't know they're coming. Overall, Micro Machines for the SNES is a solid but unspectacular arcade-style racer.

Nicht zuletzt aufgrund des Zwei-Spieler-Modus schneidet dieses Game besser ab als das gerade erschienene Championship Pro-AM, da Euch außerdem auch noch mehr Strecken zur Verfügung stehen.

Le scrolling est tellement saccadé que s'il était mesuré avec un sismographe, il accuserait certainement 5 ou 6 sur l'échelle de Richter, et l'animation est si lente que l'on a l'impression d'assister à une couse entre hérissons grabataires.

It isn't very well known that, besides Zelda and Mario, Micro Machines also got the special CD-i treatment. Philips recycled the classic Codemasters game in a horribly jerky, slow and practically unplayable piece of garbage. Hooray, Philips, congratulations! You've done it again - another immense disgrace to videogame history which appeared on the CD-i timeline.
