Description
Même les pommes de terre ont des yeux! (Even the potatoes have eyes!) is a French text adventure set in a fictitious South American country with a dictatorial regime. The old president was removed from power and thrown into prison. The player's task is to overthrow the new government with the help of the largely disillusioned people and free the former president. This is done by exploring different locations including towns, the president's palace and a prison. The game screen consists of a graphics area near the top, and a text area with a prompt near the bottom. The game picks up insults and demands the player begs for forgiveness on his knees whenever one is entered. At multiple occasions it is possible to die in the game. In addition to having to start over, a gun with a side-view is drawn on the screen and the player is asked to put his head to the right of the screen, and press a button.
