Description

On a playfield analogous to playing two perpendicular rounds of Frogger superimposed upon each other, this game sets before the player the task of successfully navigating a small lump through a perpetually moving maze of overlapping rectangular obstacles reminiscent of the geometrical compositions of Dutch abstract painter Piet Mondrian. These movements are crudely controlled by mouse movements, often resulting in the avatar getting pushed around by larger rectangles. Should it get pinned between rectangles or a rectangle and an outside border of the playfield, the avatar explodes (in an aesthetically pleasing abstract art fashion) and is sent back to the start of the map.

Trivia

This submission to Kokoromi's Gamma256 competition is not the first game to be based on the abstract compositions of Piet Mondrian -- that honour would go to the Pac-Man remake Pac-Mondrian.
