The Nintendo GameCube version of Mortal Kombat: Deception was released five months after the Playstation 2 and Xbox versions. This was during a time when Midway was trying to decide if they would continue supporting the GameCube with new software. Obviously, they did. Although it sold well on PS2 and Xbox it didn't do very well on GC, which is unfortunate because according to Midway the sales of Deception were going to decide Midways future support for Nintendo.
