Midway's kung fu adventure takes you on a bloody journey through Outworld.
Departing from the one-on-one beat 'em up action that made the series' name, Mortal
Kombat: Shaolin Monks unleashes a gore-soaked kung fu action adventure which is literally
out of this world. The game follows the exploits of Liu Kang and Kung Lao as they are
sucked into Outworld at the end of the first tournament, and pits you against a horde of
warriors and iconic bosses from the beat 'em up games, either in single or multiplayer
co-op modes.
Multi-directional combat takes the character's iconic moves to the next level, hand-in-fist
with the introduction of new abilities and weapons. Interactive environments let you hurl
enemies onto spikes, or run up and along walls, while action-oriented puzzles keep the
