Description
Mythos is an online role-playing game with a very basic storyline: The land Uld is hounded by monsters and the players have to kill them. The randomly generated dungeons are all instances and the only open areas are the cities. Here players can merge into groups and take on quests.
Combat is indirect, which means that players only chooses if to use a standard attack, a special attack or a spell and click on the monster - the rest is automatic. After the monsters are dead, players pick up dropped items and open treasure chests to improve the equipment. Every dungeon features a big chest with special items in it - but the key has to be found first...
The game features four races (gremlin, cyclops, satyr or human) and three classes (mage, fighter or archer) with different abilities. The game uses a traditional experience point system and after a level up the player can divide five points on general statistics like strength and two points in the skill tree. Item scan be crafted by combining recipes and ingredients.
Mythos is free to play and features a shop in which players can purchase advantages with real money, e.g. identification spells or experience boosts.
