I have a problem. You see, I tried playing this a few days ago, but it kept resetting itself. What I mean is the game restarted even when I didn't press reset. I only got as far as the first cutscene before it restarted. This is also happening with other games on the N64. Can someone please help?

Note: The name of this thread is a reference to TF2.

1: Clean the N64's cart connector.
2: Clean the carts themselves.
3: Make sure the power plug is not damaged or loose.
4: Do you have the Jumper Pack or an Expansion Pack installed? And is it working fine?

You could also try sticking something of thick card stock behind or in front of the cart, like a note card or business card. And if that doesn't work, use more paper.

Over time the pins on the system get pushed out. Putting a piece of paper in there will hold the cart in. The reason it's resetting is probably because it's moving slightly and losing contact with the system.

I have cleaned the cartridge, but not the system (which explains why other games reset). And I only have a rumble pack. THANK YOU, ENGINEER!
