People either love Rampage or they hate it. Rampage 2 will foster the same feelings. As a simple, funny and somewhat mindless multiplayer game, Rampage 2 rules. The one-player mode is tiresome.
Super Play
Rampage 2 pales quickly in the solo department, but if you can bring two other players in, it's like going home to family....provided your family lived in an arcade, and had a history of domestic violence.
Rampage: Universal Tour is a solid upgrade over last year's game. It features updated graphics, more cities and characters to choose from and a still-enjoyable three-player multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, none of this is enough to distract us from the fact that the gameplay mechanic holding it all together is severely outdated. While younger gamers are bound to get a kick out of Universal Tour's silly cast of characters and simple-to-learn control system and objectives, older gamers are likely to desire something more than breaking building after building for 125 levels. A decent rental for its multiplayer mode.

Rampage World Tour didn't exactly set the world on fire, and Rampage 2: Universal Tour doesn't bring along enough lighter fluid to warrant picking it up. However, it is an easy game just to sit down in front of and play. If you feel left out because you passed on getting World Tour last year, or you've got young children in the house, or you're looking for a game to play mindlessly for hours at a time, this game is worth a quick rental.
