Don't underestimate the power of the hand if you're a beginner. The way to go is to buy this game and master it A.S.A.P. That way you can catch up with the veterans and up the ante to your skills. It is costly though because it is around $50.00 but believe me, its worth it. Here are the characters and some of their special attacks:

Overall: Fun, easy, and addictive, it can last you a fair bit before it starts to lack.

So, it won't offer a hardcore gaming experience but it offers lots of fun in single and multiplayer. That's what this game is. Fun.

Overall, anyone who hasn’t experienced or fully experienced Super Smash Brothers should most definitely pull out their Nintendo 64 and find a copy of the game online. Super Smash Brothers was just one of the games that made the Nintendo 64 one of the best multiplayer consoles of all time, and it is still a blast to play today.

Although fighting may not be the genre you should classify Super Smash Bros. under, it's probably the closest one. With the exclusion of any stellar fighting series on the N64, you may just want to accept SSB as one.

Let's start off by saying that Super Smash Bros. is not really a fighting game. Yeah, we know. It says "fighting" in our categories box to the right -- and in a way, this HAL-developed beat 'em up bears all the signs of a traditional fighting game. But unlike the Tekkens or Mortal Kombats of this world, Smash Bros. does not rely on complex button combinations or a ton of moves to bring the game to life. To figure out what this game is all about, imagine a hybrid of Mario Bros. (the original, non-scrolling game) and Street Fighter. The outcome is a refreshing multiplayer battle game that won't fix the gaping hole in the N64 fighting game lineup, but delivers a ton of fun and heavy dose of nostalgia.

Förväntar man sig ett beat 'em up i ordets vanliga bemärkelse, eller en långvarig utmaning för en spelare, har man inte mycket att hämta här. Men för den som utan att behöva tänka en enda sekund på skadligt TV-spelsvåld vill slå Yoshi bara för att han är töntig, sparka Mario bara på grund av hans jobbiga röst eller klappa till Pikachu enbart för att han envisas med att pipa sitt eget namn hela tiden är Super Smash Bros ett utmärkt val. Särskilt om man har några kompisar att bråka med.

Alle Nintendo-legends in één vechtgame, dat moet wel een succes worden. Persoonlijk prefereer ik wat meer volwassen fightinggames, maar dit is wel een leuk alternatief.

Un jeu qui propose une bonne alternative au jeu de baston en mélangeant un peu les genres et surtout, en proposant un mode multijoueur qui se trouve être un bon exutoire. Si vous voulez passer du bon temps avec des copains, vous pouvez y aller.

But unlike other recent mascot games (like Mario Party, ugh), this one takes its cute, cuddly critters and throws 'em into a ring to battle it out. Finally - a chance to kick Kirby's fluffy, gumball ass.

If you've got a crew of friends ready to pick a Nintendo character and throw down, then Super Smash Bros. is definitely worth a purchase. It's an idea so simple, it makes you wonder why it took so long to happen: Take all your top-notch characters and toss them all into one game. In this case, the characters are Nintendo's, and the game is a new spin on your typical fighting game. The result is Super Smash Bros., a fighter that is easy enough for anyone to pick up, yet it has enough multiplayer appeal to stay interesting for a good long time.

Although the camera tries to maintain a tight angle, it's hard to keep track of your fighter. By default, each contest is played over a specified time period, and the fact that each player has an infinite number of lives never sat well with me. I much prefer the option to limit the matches by "stock" (lives). Super Smash Bros. is a fun concept that brings together a lot of memorable characters, but as a game it's vastly overrated. Its novelty value is through the roof, but if you're not a Nintendo fan, you'll probably wonder what all the fuss is about.

Allt är ganska sött, men Super smash bros får stryk av mängder av fightingspel och är bara okej - till och med för Mario-fansen.

Even though it appears to be a culmination many fantastic Nintendo games, it simply isn’t even close to resembling anything remotely good. Don’t be brainwashed, kids, this is not cool; it’s a rip-off to be taken at face value.
