Trivia

The game makes an appearance in the fourth episode of the second season of the HBO TV series The Wire. Inmate Avon Barksdale is shown playing the game with an Xbox controller in his hand. Although it is unclear which exact version of the game in the series was used, the words "NBA Inside Drive" clearly appear on the screen.
