This game is pure baseball excellence. I can't find one thing wrong with it! The graphics are extremely well detailed with humongous players and the gameplay is unparalleled. Baseball Stars 2 is a major improvement over the first. All in all...the best!
En clair, Super base-ball Stars 2 était un peu inutile, mais cela reste le meilleur Baseball du monde.
The Video Game Critic
The gameplay itself really hasn't changed much. It's easier to position your fielders laterally, but harder to tell how far the ball was hit. New "power-up" options add a bit more strategy, allowing you to increase your batter's strength a limited number of times per game. The single player tournament mode lets you save your place between innings, which is a welcome feature. I enjoy Baseball Stars Professional 2 immensely. It's probably the most spectacular baseball game I've ever played.
All Game Guide
Baseball Stars 2 is a fun and fast-paced game of baseball with a very definite arcade feel. Gamers looking for realism and statistical accuracy won't find it here. But anyone who wants to play a light and entertaining sports game will be satisfied.
After playing games like World Series Baseball and the Triple Play series, it's strange to go back to games like Baseball Stars 2. This style of animation and game has more in common with the original Ken Griffey Jr. baseball game on the Super NES than it does with any other baseball simulator.
