The Video Game Critic
Spinmaster's sprites are absolutely huge, but the on-screen chaos never feels overwhelming. Exotic layered backgrounds call to mind Indiana Jones, and the stages are short enough that they never wear out their welcome. Playing alongside a friend is especially fun. Although much of the game tends to move at a breakneck pace, you'll definitely want to take your time when it comes to the platform jumping. Spinmaster's difficulty is very fair, but you'll still find yourself wanting to use the continues. The game's musical score is so good that it sometimes reminded me of a Zelda game (high praise indeed). Coming off like an easier and more whimsical version of Metal Slug, Spinmaster is one Neo Geo title worth hunting down.

Defunct Games
But I do like the ability to pick your own treasure chest at the end of the game. And the game really is more fun than it ought to be. And even though it's short, easy, and has silly weapons, the game is much better than your average Neo Geo platformer. Well worth checking out.

Digital Press - Classic Video Games
This is the middle-of-the-road platformer on the Geo. It looks and plays better than Blues Journey, but is simply generic when compared to Magician Lord. It's not a bad game when offered for a reasonable price, but don't expect a mind blowing experience, especially when the entire thing can be beaten on your first play-through.
