Summary
Odd Shooter into the Belly of a Beast
The Good
Decent graphics and memorable gameplay mechanics.
The Bad
While a challenge is occasionally nice, Abadox sometimes tested the limits of frustration. The game function like a pure coin-op. Once those 2 credits are gone, you have to start all over.
The Bottom Line
Abadox was an inventive shooter, providing a difficult challenge and one of the oddest locations for a game. The stages progress through what seem to be the various locations of a giant aliens body.
The game features typical shooter elements -- powerups including speed, shields, and various guns.
Milton Bradley, who published many losers for the NES, had a better game here.
