Nintendo Land
This game never gets the hype it should. This game is one of the best Dragon Quests/ Warriors to exist. However, it doesn't get off too easy. You hear other game require a lot of leveling up and magic, I'll tell you now, Dragon Quest III and V are the only games I know of where it's essential to spend, at the norm, a day leveling up. It isn't like DQ4 where you could get a few hundred Gold, but in DQ1, and 2, you need it. Dragon Quest III is the last game in the "Erdrick/ Roto" trilogy, which explains all about Erdrick/ Roto. This game has been remade for the Super Famicom, but sadly, it never reached our shores.

All Game Guide
Dragon Warrior 3 is a classic RPG that's aged remarkably well. Its job system is both unique and interesting, and its gameplay is quite enjoyable. If you're interested in RPGs, you should play this game both for its historical value and for its fun factor.

All in all, Dragon Warrior III does a great Ultima impression, as did the earlier games in the series. Don't hesitate to get your sword polished and your shield buffed, and the help Erdrick and company look for some new blood.

This is a big ol’ chunk of the old school. Bone up on the classics, friends, history repeats -- you may glimpse some stuff from newer RPG’s within this fossil. If you are looking into game design or basic plotlines, cram this baby into your ancient console and prepare to dissect. A good play, indeed.
