Felix the Cat is fun to play! Its landslide of levels and abundance of Magic Items will keep folks with even the shortest attention spans engaged. The Cat is back! That's purr-fect for NES gamers everywhere.
Hudson Soft certainly doesn’t craft the most interesting platformers (Nintendo), nor the most action-packed (Capcom/Konami), but they do employ some of the most unique mechanics out of any platformer developer on the NES. Felix the Cat is arguably their peak. Enjoy it. It goes down smooth.
The music is cheery and well
done, and the graphics are colorful and finely detailed. Overall, the
game is a very fun and uniquely designed romp with a great main
character, although the difficulty is almost too easy in some places.
Felix the Cat est un jeu de plates-formes comme on les aime. On avance, on saute, on tire.
Felix the Cat is an extremely enjoyable game but one of the easiest platformers on the NES. Obviously this game is targeted towards beginning gamers and this game is an “A” for that group. The rest of us will marvel at the top notch graphics and gameplay but will beat the game and find no replay value in it.
This just may well be one of the last 8-Bit games really worth playing.
This is a great kids game, and if you're a fan of Felix you might enjoy this game yourself. The thing I liked most was how the game really captured the essence of Felix and his magic bag. The graphics in the game where very nice and not to busy, just interesting enough to not become boring. The play control was very simple and straight forward. Well worth playing, especially if you have children.
