When it comes down to it, Peter Pan and the Pirates is a fairly solid side-scroller with questionable graphics and controls. The audio's not much better either, and it can sometimes glitch up on you. But if you need a title to make you feel better about your subpar gaming skills, this is it. Let me know if you complete the final level.
Music is pretty horrible stuff with repetitive melodies containing far
too many high pitch notes that actually starts to hurt the ears after
a while. It does look semi-decent though, with some of the shadowy
backgrounds and character portraits during minor cutscenes being
quite a cut above the gameplay they accompany.
Any time you stab anything – pirate or winged creature – you take damage. Worthless, Peter Pan is. Utterly, utterly worthless.
