Gremlins 2: The New Batch

Gremlins 2 est si bon que l'on ressent son influence chez d'autres, mais oui, comme Zombies de Lucasarts sur Super Nintendo (la perspective, les araignées, la lave, les surfaces de pointes... et les tomates !). En attendant d'autres tests de jeux de cette compagnie qui, sur NES, vaut son pesant d'or autant que Konami et Capcom, on se replongera avec inlassable délice dans leurs deux adaptations captivantes de films à succès.

Lordy, a good license for a film sequel! What ever next? Seriously, Gremlins II is a great game, packed with humour and fun throughout. The developers have worked hard at getting the most out of the graphics, making them as accurate as possible (although it can be tricky at first to judge jumps). The sound is incredible: extra chips have been used to make the music and effects top notch, adding enormously to the appeal of the game. As for the playability, it's of a very high standard, and always fun, with the difficulty pitched so that everyone can progress at first, but later levels can only be passed by skill and practice. The later levels are my favourites, as the difficulty is matched by the increased fun - but the Gremlins themselves are tough opponents!

This is a fun game for everyone. Gremlins fans and moderate gamers will especially like this game as it is hard at first but becomes pretty easy. If only they would have made a Gremlins 1…

Gremlins 2 är nämligen ett SVÅRT spel, Gizmosarna dör som flugor redan tidigt i spelet och det är oerhört irriterande att tvingas kämpa med en och samma nivå i dagar. Till slut vill man bara ge upp. Mycket av detta beror på att man inte har någon joystick. Spelet kräver nämligen precision, och det är svårt att åstadkomma precision med ett löarvigt litet "tryckkors". Sorgligt, eftersom Nintendo lagt ner så mycket möda på Gizmos rörelsemönster. Vitsen med att kunnga svänga i luften försvinner när man vinglar runt som en skadskjuten kråka.

Un buen juego sin duda, y una de las mejores adaptaciones de un film, que aporta nuevas escenas nunca mostradas en la peli.

I may have made fun of the game for not following the movie, but in the end, it's a very good thing. It doesn't try to stick to the plot and instead takes its own, much more enjoyable direction. My advice is to try it out...it's a very fun game, despite the nagging flaws that makes the game difficult.
