The Good
I like the game's gameplay, simplistic story, eye-candy graphics and simple, yet floaty controls.

The Bad
I don't have any issues with this game at all. But there are times and some locations in the game that seems to be unfair and whatever you do you can't avoid to take damage.

The Bottom Line
Kaiketsu Yanchamaru 3 - Taiketsu! Zouringen or Kid Niki 3 as the English Fan Translation names it, is at first, seems to appear as an average multiscrolling collect-the-keys-and-hit-stuff platformer, but there’s a surprising (for an NES/Famicom game) amount of gameplay variety to be found here. Aside from running around, jumping, and bonking stuff with your bonking stick, you can also slide, charge up for a spin attack, and hang off of walls and ledges, among other such feats, but it can’t quite live up to the standard set by the genius of the original Kid Niki.

The game's gameplay, simplistic story, eye-candy graphics and simple but floaty controls will have other NES/Famicom Platformer/Adventure games a run for their money.
