To me, the Rad Racers boil down the arcade racer to its essence: go fast at all costs. Anything less is unacceptable.
If you're a racing buff, you'd be a fool to pass this up; with twelve tracks to race on and challenging opponents, this'll have a steady home in your NES deck.
Em Rad Racer II você deve levar sua Ferrari à cidade mais próxima, no menor tempo possível.
This game is extremely
challenging to the point of unfair, as players must not only prevent
themselves from crashing, but also must ensure to navigate turns
correctly as to not lose too much speed. Even if a player doesn’t
crash during a race, that will not guarantee victory past the first
two or three courses. It’s another fine effort, although it’s a step
sideways from the original, and not an improvement.
Rad Racer 2 tries to recapture the look and feel of the first, but the scrolling isn't as smooth and the game play isn't as good either. The only big plus is that its harder than the first.
