Being that there are two vehicles to choose from, this allows for some replayability, as there are pros and cons to each vehicle, and it’s interesting discovering the differences and just how different a game it is when using each. The two-player simultaneous mode is outstanding and really showcases the aforementioned differences, as there are enemy types that will be easier to take out for both jeep and helicopter. A good amount of thought went into this highly enjoyable shooter.

Without the dual-vehicle concept, Silkworm doesn’t have much to recommend. Outside of a few backdrops, the visuals are uninteresting and flat, and the music is neither memorable nor in-my-face. Controlling both the helicopter and the jeep respectively, though, provides two different experiences through the same game. Combine the multiple playthroughs with wonderful co-op, and Silkworm becomes worth seeking out.
Silkworm is a good variation of the basic shooter, with dual player options and two different types of attack vehicles. Beyond this twist, however, Silkworm doesn't have a lot in the way of original gameplay. This is another highly challenging game that should keep shooter fans occupied.
