After running him through the rigors of a zany-but-strenuous Nintendo workout, the conclusion of this review became obvious: If ya loved Bart in the Space Mutants you're gonna like him in Bart vs. the World. despite a few shortcomings here and there, Bart's new cart is a world-beater!

With loads of levels and a variety of sub-games, this keeps you occupied for many a merry hour.

1UP! (Jun 30, 2015)
One unique challenge offered is finding all the Simpson family members and Krusty treasures hidden throughout the levels to see the full ending. Is it worth it? That depends on how much you like NES platformers.
The Simpsons is one of the greatest television series ever made: It's funny, intelligent, and loaded with sight gags. It's too bad The Simpsons: Bart vs. the World doesn't live up to the high standards set by the animated boob tube classic.

Bart Vs. The World is such an improvement over Space Mutants that one might be deceived into believing that it’s a good game. It isn’t. The levels are boring, frustrating, and apart from the Great Wall of China skateboarding portion, forgettable. Like in Space Mutants, the graphics have a washed-out, graininess, and the music is the Simpsons theme put on a nightmarish loop. Consider Bart Vs. The World like a modern-day Simpsons episode: a few decent bits, surrounded by an otherwise terrible script that couldn’t be less amusing if it tried.

Too easy of a game and at best only average.

You don't need me to tell you that Bart vs. the World is not worth playing. You're a smart enough gamer to know that the poor controls, crummy graphics and annoying mini-games weren't worth your time. I'm convinced that this alarmingly bad platformer was made by people who actively hate The Simpsons.
