For a quarter of a century, the Starship U.S.S. Enterprise and her crew have been carrying out their mission "to explore strange new seek out new life and new boldly go where no one has gone before." And now, on the year of Star Trek's 25th anniversary, the Enterprise warps into the world of the NES. Star Trek, from Ultra Games, finds the original crew in uncharted space with little power and no dilithium crystals.

In diesem Sinne: Engage!

On the whole, a mediocre Star Trek interpretation whose novelty rapidly wears off. The lack of excitement means most players soon lose interest, but Star Trek fans are likely to get more out of this than most.
Total! (Germany)

If you're not a fan of the show, what little novelty this game offers will be lost on you. If you are a fan, then the much better PC edition is the way to go. Star Trek: 25th Anniversary for the NES is a nice little distraction, especially when coupled with a day of Trek reruns to heighten the experience. But there's just way too little substance for me to recommend this game.
