Overall if you owned a NES but loved Wonderboy 3, this was a great alternative. The controls are outstanding, there is minimal sprite flicker with the graphics & the music is brilliant. So it’s time to be patriotic people. Put your hand on your heart & declare to the world just how proud to be Australian. After all, we got Ufouria & the US didn’t.
This is a high
quality/fun title that keeps the
player smiling throughout.
Although it might be a bit on the easy side, Ufouria is a great example of a third-party developer beating Nintendo at their own game. It does just about everything the original Metroid did, but better, so if you love Nintendo's action adventure series you'd do very well to check this one out.
Ufouria's a mildly amusing foray into a world straight from Mario Land, but that just means it's a kick to play. The bouncy action's good fun, and you'll get plenty of it - in fact you'll need a map to find your way.
