Nintendo Front (Nov 05, 2007)
IGN (Oct 10, 2007)
Crash of the Titans is definitely one of the better handheld Crash games to hit the market. The bandicoot had a great run on the Game Boy Advance, but the system's limitations kept it from matching the level of the original PlayStation platformers. This Nintendo DS game almost hits that mark. It looks great, plays well, and has a lot of different gameplay mechanics to keep things interesting. Tighten up that combat system and we'd be even more impressed.

Crash of the Titans is this Bandicoots comeback game. It's arcade-style fun that is sure to please gamers of all ages and styles. It's games like this that made us all gaming fans in the first place. My major criticism is that is only takes an afternoon to complete.
NintendoWorldReport (Oct 26, 2007)
At the end of the day, Crash of the Titans is a mediocre game with some interesting ideas. Crash Bandicoot fans should enjoy it, but gamers looking for a decent platformer on their DS should look elsewhere.
GameSpot (Nov 09, 2007)
Short, but sweet. That's the Nintendo DS rendition of Crash of the Titans in a nutshell. Exploring 3D worlds and pummeling monsters as Crash is fun, especially when you get to take control of those monsters. It's just a shame that there are only enough levels to allow the fun to last for one or two sittings.

Close to achieving Naughty Dog greatness in level design but far away from that success in other areas, Crash of the Titans isn’t on par with its 2D, Game Boy Advance predecessors. There are 2D elements within the 3D worlds – those are cool and are a growing trend for the genre. But overall the game lacks polish. The touch screen doesn’t work well, and frankly, doesn’t need to be there. Some Crash fanatics may find amusement and long-term value in its PSone-mimicked gameplay. But as a fan of the series from day one, I can definitely say that this is not a sequel for every Crash enthusiast.

Game Freaks 365 (Feb 13, 2008)
Overall, this game is exactly what it sounds like, namely, a fairly generic and straightforward linear 3D platformer. That is not all bad, but this game does not stretch the boundaries of 3D platformers at all or even reach the edges already set. Still, if you are dying to have a new 3D platformer for your DS, this game may be enough to suit your fancy for a few hours.
