Gunpey DS is a puzzle/music game where line angles climb up the screen and you must connect all the lines over the five panels, filling the screen from left to right. If an incomplete line reaches the top of the screen, the game is over (similar to Tetris).

There are variations in gameplay between the DS and PSP and a different style: the DS version uses a 'space Western' anime style with different characters and planets. There is also a story mode to play. On the DS you can also use the stylus to drag the lines up or down. The bonus 'Sound Box' mode allowed you to use a simple music sequencer to make your own melodies.
