Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits

While you probably won't spend too much time on games like Road Fighter or Circus Charlie, there are enough bona fide classics to give the collection a first look, and there's enough depth with some of the lesser-known arcade games to make it worth a second and third look, too.

What then is the conclusion? The number of games in this package and their overall diversity and generally good quality are certainly pluses for these games, but many of them do have better or as good console versions that will hopefully see a release someday. If you are a fan of the arcade versions of these games, there is no logical reason not to pick up this compilation. But if you were a fan of the console versions, you might get some entertainment value out of this compilation, but you'll likely be disappointed by the differences as well.

Un très bon hommage de la part de Konami envers ces titres qui l'ont aidé à devenir une référence en matière de jeux d'arcade. Trop de compilations dans le genre sont faites à la truelle, et celle-ci n'a heureusement pas subi le même sort. Soignée, plaisante malgré quelques petits ratés dans l'affichage, Konami Arcade Classics saura satisfaire les nostalgiques des bornes d'arcade.
