Hey, It's a Shamus with Something Extra!

Betcha Sherlock Holmes never had to investigate a walking skeleton.

After her father unexpectedly passes away, Mackenzie inherits the family business: a renowned detective agency in a fantastic world populated by mechanized butlers and walking skeletons. With the aid of cheerful mushroom-man Funghi and robotic servant Cromwell, Mackenzie sets off to prove herself worthy of being called the Touch Detective!

    Features
    • Four bizarre cases. Find a missing person track down a stolen dream, and more
    • Gather evidence, talk to witnesses and use items to further the investigation

Atlus hit touch-screen-adventure paydirt with Trauma Center: Under the Knife (more good news: a sequel, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, is in the works for the Wii). This time, the touching is a little less life-or -death.

Touch Detective has a similar feel to that of another quality DS game, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. As you investigate each case, you'll ask questions of the people you meet and collect items.

The item collection serves the most important purpose. Not only do you need to search for the items in the different locations you investigate, you'll need to determine when is the best time to use the item and if items need to be combined. You can view each item close up to touch and examine different parts of it.

    Bottom Line

With a unique art style and easy-to-use interface, Touch Detective is a quality game for junior detectives in waiting.
