Nobunaga Oda appears in some other games as well. You can select clan Oda in Shogun: Total War and he's also the big bad guy in Onimusha: Warlords by Capcom and an arcade beat 'em up called Ninja Masters (1996) by SNK.
This is actually the first game in the large Nobunaga's Ambition series. At the moment (February 2002) the series consist of (at least) 9 games. However, the vast majority of them are/were only on sale in Japan, South Korea and China: guessably, the strong emphasis on Japanese history doesn't work very well in being appealing to the western audience.
