Rick Murdoc is driving back after a hard day at work when he is involved in a car crash. He wakes up in the hospital of Noisy Mountain and is unharmed, but the place is entirely deserted and there are disturbing messages. He finds clues about a certain Mike Miller, who was in the same hospital and has died. The aim of the game is to find out what has really happened to Rick and Mr Miller since the accident.

Noisy Mountain is a freeware AGS point-and-click adventure game. A classic control mechanism is used: an inventory near the top of the screen and different actions (walk, examine, pick up/use) cycled through using the right mouse button. The game draws inspiration from the Silent Hill series, with sarcastic humour.
