Description
The Official EDGE Computer Game is a short, one-day programming effort by
Nicklas Nygren created at the Edgefestivalen. He did all the programming while visitors of the event provided the sounds and music, as well as the graphics through drawings. He incorporated all of these into a game and programmed the gameplay.
It consists of different rooms where the player controls a head. Using the mouse, the head can be shot into a certain direction, picking up diamonds for points and avoiding enemies in the meantime. Players go through the different, hand-drawn rooms until all lives have been lost. Most rooms have different exists, moving objects and enemies. At the end of the game, a score is calculated.
