One has everything a great game should have; beautiful graphics, a compelling story and play environment, a ton of variety and gameplay that keeps you both on the edge of your seat and the edge of sanity. Buy it, play it, live it - One is simply the best in it's category and one of the most intense games I have had the pleasure of playing.
ONE was a long-awaited, much anticipated title for me and once I finally got the completed version I was certainly not disappointed. The game is like a non-stop, action packed roller coaster ride. I really liked the fact that instead of power-ups, to stay alive you must destroy and keep moving forward at all times! The graphics are wonderful, utilizing some of the best transparencies and light-sourcing that I have ever seen in a home video game. Everything also moves very quickly about the screen with no slow-down. But hey, graphics certainly isn't the only thing that makes a game good, it's got to have playability and One has that through and through. For 3rd person, action/shooter fans I can highly recommend this game, you will love it for everyone else, at the very least it deserves a rental. I'll bet a lot of you will want to add it to your library after you have played it.
Uma profusão de estilos, de Tomb Raider a Flashback e Pandemonium, reúne-se na encruzilhada que é One. O resultado? Um aliciante desafio aos amantes de acção.
Fans of fast-action shooters should not pass up the chance to play One. Although there are only six levels, they are all very long and offer a good challenge. There are a few parts in the game that require careful jumping, so those who despise hopping around may be rubbed the wrong way. Overall, One is a terrific game from beginning to end.
ONE is definitely an astounding production. That's why the control problem really plagued me as I decided my rating for the game. You can deal with the bad controls if you're patient, but don't expect to pass the last level without pulling out all your hair. Everything before that is worth it though. If they had made the controls better, I'd be telling you to go to the store right now to buy ONE; but they didn't, so I won't. Instead I'm telling you to definitely go rent ONE and see if you can tolerate the headaches. It is an awesome game that will make you want to cry when you die a million times in a row. All said, ONE is almost a winner.

Playing One really pains me. It's such a gorgeous game and is fun through 75% of the game but getting stuck near the end, and at a notable place in the second level, constantly falling to my death seriously hurts this game's rating. Every action fan should at least rent One as no one should miss it's brilliant graphics and level design, but only the die hard action fans will want to run right out and buy One.

The graphics and scenery are terrific, and the audio, featuring the radio conversations of your pursuers, is interesting and fun. So what's the problem? There's simply too much platform jumping, and the touchy analog controls aren't up to the task. You'll blow your way through most of a level without losing a guy, and then miss five jumps in a row. Frustrating! Even so, One offers dishes out enough action and carnage to satisfy most shooter fans.
One could've been a great game. It has the basic idea down, and the mindless shooting can be fun. But when the game goes out of its way to make it hard for you to play, it really sucks.
