Filed under the 'Idiot decision' department: This game was distributed in the arcades in the U.S. by Bally Midway, the same people who distributed Namco'sPac-Man. It never made much dent in the U.S. market. Why is this an 'idiot decision'? Because Namco approached Bally Midway with 2 games and allowed them first pick. Bally Midway only wanted to release 1 so they selected the maze-based Mappy and the other game went to Atari. The other game was the top grossing game of its year, Pole Position. Add
