Panzer Command: Ostfront

Description

Ostfront is part of the Panzer Command series, in which the player takes the role of a commander on either the Soviet or German side, fighting on the Eastern Front of the Second World War. This 3D turn-based tactical wargame includes single, multi-battle operations and war campaigns with realistic units, tactics and a loaded interface.

The victory system for scenarios and campaigns evaluates the player's performance and rank after each battle. There are 70 scenarios and 10 campaigns, including updated versions of all of the previous "Winterstorm" and "Kharkov" units and maps.

The random battle and campaign generators allow the creation of new content using the provided presets for extended replayability. A map maker allows the creation of 3D maps, with auto-generation features for landscapes. Due to the open unit data and models, access is granted to modify the existing campaigns, units and scenarios or create new ones.
