All Game Guide
While there are some flaws within the game, the ability to control fully animated characters is a notable achievement. With a cast of eight different characters, fluid animation, and special moves and counters for each character, Battle Heat deserves a place in every PC-FX owner's library. An added bonus is that you don't need to speak or read Japanese, unless you wish to reconfigure the controller's buttons. The options menu is completely in Japanese, but most game functions are written in English.
