Long time ago, a legendary hero defeated an evil dragon. He wore a magical bracelet that protected him during the battle. years passed, and the memories of his heroic deeds, even his name, have faded away from people's minds. But a young girl named Rouge, who trains regularly in the art of sword-fighting, still dreams about a real hero - more precisely, imagines that she will marry one.

One day Rouge was reading a newspaper in her house in the quiet village of Milfa. The news were not very good: monsters have infested the land, and the Demon King Zaba seems to have some particularly sinister plans. Rouge is determined to stop the demonic plans, but first she has to prove herself as a fighter, so she ventures to the big city where a tournament takes place...

Legend of Rouge is an adult role-playing game. The entire game is played from first-person perspective. Navigation in towns and dungeons is done in pseudo-3D environments. Enemy encounters are random, and the battles are turn-based. Rouge and her party members can use special attacks and magic, which require MP. Some gameplay segments use standard Japanese adventure interface, with menu choices over 2D anime-style backgrounds.
