Commodore 64ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
The game has some really good graphics (shells exploding in the water sending a geyser-like fountain up into the air) and the screen layout is well designed; but the emphasis is certainly on action, and very hectic it can get at times. Simulator fans may find it's a smidgeon too simplistic to satisfy them but for action fans it's a real treat.

DOSACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
What makes PHM Pegasus so much fun is the great gameplay and emphasis on action. Hard core simulation fans will probably find controlling the Pegasus far too simplistic, but action fans will love it.

Commodore 64ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
For action fans, the game's still a real treat. It's aged well.

Commodore 64Happy Computer

Commodore 64The Games Machine (UK)
Action and gameplay may seem limited but the game is fun and the eight missions, though relatively easy (and a real bind on cassette), provide a worthy challenge.

DOSThe Games Machine (UK)
No change has been made to gameplay, the combination of simulation and arcade action is untouched and all the features of the C64 game are present. Both versions of PHM Pegasus are very much alike and while still good, the PC's presentation and graphic appearance is of an 8-bit game. PHM Pegasus supports CGA, EGA and Hercules MGA graphics boards.

Commodore 64Computer Gaming World (CGW)
A hydrofoil simulation, this game has good graphics and play value, although the scenarios are intrinsically less interesting than one would have guessed. Strike Fleet uses a similar system and is a more interesting product.
