The high score screen with its default set of scores

The game configuration screen allows the player to use speakers or the PC speaker, keyboard or joystick. Action keys are not configurable

The instructions option from the menu gives the back story and the action keys. The keys are used in the tunnels differ from those used in the breeding caverns

The game starts with a very, very short animated sequenc that shows our hero dropping into the tunnels

Zooming along the tunnels blasting bugs

Retrox flashes red when bitten by abbug or shot by an overhead cannon

Too much damage and the player loses a life. That's when this graphic is displayed. It shows a gash in Retrox' arm allowing namless pathogens to enter or perhaps it's just blood escaping

When all lives have been lost it's game over. What's the Stig doing saving the world?
