You can play the games freely or try the addictive Williams Challenge mode which requires you to attain a minimal score on each machine. Also included are comprehensive instructions for each game, and you'd be surprised just how elaborate and sophisticated the rules can be. Even so, you can just dive into any of these tables and start having fun immediately. My friend George and I played this game for hours on end, moving from one table to the next. With a replay value that's through the stratosphere, Pinball Hall of Fame is a fantastic addition to any Wii collection.

You may think I'm crazy, but Pinball Hall of Fame: The William Collection is easily one of the best games on the Wii. This game not only recreates ten of the best pinball machines of all time, but it also offers some of the best pinball physics around. Pinball Hall of Fame is not to be missed!

Obviously the game isn't going to revolutionize your life, but for existing pinball fans who have been waiting years for a truly worthwhile game, the wait is officially over. It's difficult to imagine anyone ever topping this.

The truth is that these days a pinball video game is a hard sell, no matter how good the product is. The kids of today aren't looking to be taught the ins and outs of classic pinball machines, they want to shoot stuff or drive a go kart. But maybe there's enough room on the Wii to have both kinds of games, especially when Pinball Hall of Fame is so good. It's hard to imagine a better pinball game than this, but I challenge Crave to top this with whatever they have in store for us next. Pinball Hall of Fame is a worthwhile addition to any Wii library, and when it comes right down to it that's just about the best thing you can say about a $30 pinball game.

WiiWorth Playing
All this whining and pining for bygone days aside, Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection is an entertaining game you'll pick up and put down, quite possibly for years to come. It's well worth the paltry price, particularly if you're old enough to remember when arcade plays were just a quarter per play, but still you'd be mortified to tally exactly how much money you spent machine-hopping in those dark, stuffy chambers of teenage delights.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve stepped inside an arcade and popped a few quarters into a pinball machine, but now I can do it from the safety of my own home and without losing $10 dollars or more. From the moment I picked up my controller until I had to put it down due to wore out fingers, I was hooked. This is a title definitely worth picking up for yourself or any lover of pinball machines.

It's a hell of a lot of fun, and hardcore pinball fans will appreciate the special achievements and unlockables like hidden tables and original promotional pamphlets.

It wasn’t long ago that The Gottlieb Collection was released. That was the video game – the first video game – that captured every nuance of real pinball machines. The Williams Collection does the same and, thanks to a few unbeatable tables, is even more fun to play.

PSPGameSpot
Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection doesn't have a lot of competition, so saying that it's the best pinball game currently available for the PSP wouldn't count for much. With its great selection of tables and believable physics this is one of the better pinball games to be released for any platform in recent memory, though, and it's a lot more affordable than a pinball table to boot.

WiiFileFactory Games / Gameworld Network
Overall, this game is a must-buy for collectors or retro game fans. Pinball fans would be crazy to pass up such a faithful recreation of some of the game’s best tables, and gamers looking for a simple, addictive title on a budget could do far worse.

Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection was made for pinball wizards: it's a fantastic fan service of the game's recent past that puts excellent attention to the detail of the genre. It's always better to play the real machine than virtual representations of them, but this collection is a great alternative at a solid value. And these pinball machines will never wear out on you.
