Description

Pirate Galaxy is a browser-based massively multiplayer online role playing game.

The Mantis, a ruthless and powerful breed of space aliens, have taken the galaxy by storm. They come for the Cryonite, the most valuable mineral in the universe.

You take the role of a daring space pirate, setting out to loot the Mantis transports and undermine their efforts to plunder the colonies. Take on missions – some legal, some not so legal – for the various rivaling factions. Pay frequent visits to your local starbase to upgrade your ship and replenish your supply of Centaurian rum. Enhance your starship with stolen Mantis technology and become the most feared space pirate of all times.

Pirate Galaxy is free-to-play and runs from a web browser. It uses Java and doesn't require you to download a client, while optionally allowing you to do so. You have the option to purchase virtual items and virtual currency inside the game.

As you play, you can chat and interact in realtime with other players from around the globe. Team up with your friends to solve challenging missions and unravel the mysteries of the alien artifacts.
