Trivia

In the UK at least, the game was rather optimistically marketed. In the same month, Gremlin released Zool for £25.99, Lotus 3 for £25.99, and this for £34.99 including a 'free' video. You do the maths.

Not directly related to the game, but for those more interesting in the creation and people involved with the movie Plan 9 from Outer Space, an account of the situation can be found in movie form in Tim Burton's Ed Wood.

The game box contained a video tape of - you guessed it - the Plan 9 from Outer Space movie :)

While the film Plan 9 From Outer Space is regarded as quite possibly the worst science fiction movie ever, it was also known as Body Snatchers From Outer Space - which only goes to show how unimaginative the director of this movie truly was...

Editor's Note: The original title was in fact "Grave Robbers From Outer Space", but this didn't fly with the film's producers (who were funding the film) because they were devout Christians and thought the title was sacreligious. They were so religious, in fact, that in order to get the funding Ed Wood needed to be baptised!
