Who'd have thought those dried creatures that come to life when you add them to water would make a viable subject for a videogame? Well here's the proof - The Amazing Virtual Sea Monkeys. In this colourful, 2D puzzle game you take control of Nautila, a sort of fish/robot/submarine that has one goal in life: keep the Sea Monkeys safe. The Sea Monkeys will drop into the 70 underwater maze levels as eggs, hatch and then swim off in one direction. To keep them in one piece, you must guide Nautila around the level discouraging predators and using underwater items (such as delaying bubbles and alluring Lantern fish) to shepherd the pre-occupied Sea Monkeys to the level's exit, the large Venus Shell. If you're after Lemmings-style action for the younger players in your household, net the The Amazing Virtual Sea Monkeys - they're a lot less messy than the real thing.
