Digimon World

La recette des Digimon est certes moins efficace que celle qui a fait le succès des Pokémon, mais les fans du DA y trouveront sûrement leur compte. Reste que la progression est parfois laborieuse et pas toujours passionnante, mais le soft réserve de longues heures de jeu à ceux qui se laisseront happer par cet univers.

I sin helhet är Digimon World ett högst medelmåttigt spel, me nmed tanke på att genren är dåligt representerad på PlayStation bryter Bandai halvny mark. Är man intresserad av denna typ av spel är Digimon World helt klart ett fullgott alternativ, men man fick gärna ta konceptet lite längre.

If you're not a fan of Digimon, there's nothing about this game that'll make you change your mind. If you're a big fan of Digimon, then there's probably nothing that I can say to change your mind here -- just go out and make your parents buy this game and every single plush toy that they can afford.

You can't blame Bandai for wanting a piece of the Pokemon pie. The lineage of the concept that has taken much of the world by storm is relatively cloudy, though Bandai, it must be noted, was the purveyor of its original incarnation: the Tamagotchi. Once simply raising the little digital beasts got old, pitting them against those of your rivals became the order of the day. This idea gave rise to a legion of games, of which Pokemon is just one. Bandai's answer is Digimon - though, up until the release of Digimon World, the company was content to keep its digital cockfights outside of the video game realm.
