I hear Eric Idle's voice. No more needs to be said! As the funniest point-and-click adventure to appear in a long time. Discworld features a load of dialogue all done in sarcastic British humour. This game is solid entertainment from the intro to the last stage. Even the riddles and quests have been developed for the enjoyment more than purpose. Graphics are top-notch and control is, well, standard for point-and-click. My only gripe is that the game drags at some points.

Plenty of laughs but little challenge make Discworld some what of a novelty for serious RPG players. But serious RPGers are definitely not what Discworld is looking for. For a change of pace, give this Disc a spin.

Game Players
Discworld is guaranteed fun for graphic adventure lovers. With the added humor, this one may even draw in a few new players.

The games funniness shows itself in other ways; for example, your character can't store items until he wakes up his magic chest, which follows him around like an obedient dog. The audiovisuals don't push the Playstation --- they didn't even push the PC --- but this game's best asset is it's wry humour, nor it's eye candy.

Like I said before, though, Discworld is terribly slow. If you can sit through the long load times, this title has a lot to offer.

Digital Press - Classic Video Games
In the Playstation's early days, the software library resembled a PC. Especially with monosyllabic PC classics like Doom, Myst and Worms available. No King's Quest or Lucasarts games, however. The replacement was Discworld, a sometimes brilliant, sometimes insane, always slooooow point and click adventure.
