Disney's Dinosaur

The kids might just go for this, but I don't know how long they could stick with the tedious gameplay and frustrating snags. I suggest that a cheap second-hand copy of Lost World would be a far better investment than shelling out for a full priced version of Dinosaur.

I wanted this game to be great, and expected nothing less than excellence from Disney Interactive and Ubisoft. So, my bias may not apply for someone who loved Dinosaur The Movie, and just wants to play her favorite characters on PlayStation. Still, after playing and enjoying more than a few games designed for the younger set, I can't help but say that Dinosaur is less than average. The darker side of license games rears its ugly head...

It's nice to see a movie-licensed game that contains ambitious design elements, but Dinosaur never really comes together into something truly fun. It requires you to work too much to accomplish the objectives, and for too little reward.

I hated the movie, and I don't think any better of the game. This is just a sorry excuse to make some bucks off of something else that Disney owns. The game isn't exciting, the levels are drab, and the graphics are outdated. Dinosaur's objectives can be accomplished quickly, and the levels speed by. Before you know it, it's all over. Will kids like this? Sure. It'll keep little tykes and toddlers entertained. Mature gamers, stay away.

Dinosaur is het spelen niet waard. Vooral de besturing is klote, maar ook de rest van de game laat zwaar te wensen over. Bij deze vraag ik ale PU-lezende oma's die hun kleinkind een plezier willen doen, om deze game NIET te kopen.
