Disruptor's a great game with some serious gameplay. Fans of corridor shooters will love it. Beginners may not find themselves up to the challenge at first, but they'll definitely come back for more.

If you see this one cheap, pick it up. I was never a huge fan of the genre until I played this game, and my only gripe with it is that it's a tad on the easy side. Remember the credo of the LightStormers... "Think fast, shoot fast, kick ass!"

Within, you'll find an under-appreciated classic that hits all the right buttons. Violence! Explosions! A cunning dual weapon system! A cleverly-used plot with perfect pacing! But best of all, the ability to stand reasonably unique in the overcrowded First Person Shooter world. And that, in itself, is as big a recommendation as I can give.

Disruptor is a game that any fans of first-person shooters should add to their collection. I was really drawn in by the story line and the super intense gameplay. The different enemies and levels kept me fighting to make it farther just so I could see what was next. These guys did a great job with this game and I hope they make another. This goes to show you that if you have the right people to do a job, the job will get done right.

Men i slutänden är Disruptor det bästa som har hänt Playstation när det gäller 3D-springa-runt-och-skjuta-spel.

Disruptor probably won't win any Doom-haters over, but for gamers who like a good shooter, you can't do much better than this.

Disruptor does rise above the call of duty during its cutscenes. Despite the requisite bad acting, the story is amusing and the hero character develops a personality while learning about his new psionic implants. And the mission briefings are the stuff of genius: "You'll be facing organic enemies this time, so hunt down the phase rifle and cook 'em 'till they're well done." In the final analysis, however, Disruptor is little more than a good way to pass the time before Duke Nukem struts his stuff on the Playstation.

Edge
There can be few PlayStation owners who have yet to sample the delights of the 3D, first-person-perspective shoot ‘em up. The original Doom has been around for the best part of a year and Acclaim’s licensed Alien Trilogy is one of the year’s more high-profile releases. And yet it seems that softcos cannot slake the gamer’s thirst for this most immersive of sub-genres: the darkened corridor wandering, the gory festival of monster splattering and the sheer exhilaration that comes from the fear of not knowing what is lurking around the next corner.
