You can play for hours and have fun but till keep wishing for more to happen in the game. Maybe they'll cure the sequel to this Epidemic with biological enemies
P.S.X. (Playstation Experience)
As in the first title, Epidemic's enemies lack personality. However, I did like the way plot information was dispensed via computer terminals found throughout the game.

Epidemic just lacks the intensity that I've come to enjoy in this style of game. This is not a bad game, but it could've been better.

I got the impression that this was a sequel to a first-generation game - as opposed to a true-second generation title. I think they could have done a lot more with it. Rent it before you buy it.
I've always given Sony two snaps up for importing their Japanese Playstation titles (particularly games like Aquanaut's Holiday and Jumping Flash!), but Epidemic needs a more engrossing storyline to make up for the painfully average gameplay. And because the story is so thin, the game ranks near the bottom of the crowded first-person shooter genre.
Video Games
Electric Playground
Plagued by terrible voice acting, tedious CG cut scenes, a ridiculously complicated cartoon plot, and overdone, yet still half-baked game play, Epidemic barely gets up enough steam to qualify as a rental. We've all played better first person explore shooters before and, frankly, as overused as this expression is becoming, we don't need another lame Doom clone.
Game Revolution
The final story is that Epidemic doesn't really offer anything new compared to other shooters. To make it in the 3d shooter market you've got to have something fresh and new. Epidemic just doesn't have it.
The cut- scenes, like in the first game, are done well, but add little to the overall gameplay which, incidentally, has also been improved. There's a larger variety of enemies, as well as a new locking target with which to kill them. There's also a run feature - something sorely lacking in the first. However, these few improvements have not saved the game. Epidemic just isn't that good.
