This is a reasonably long and involved game here. With its multiple worlds, various objectives and hidden items, it offers a good value for your money. I tend to question the reply value of the game though once you have found everything that this game has to offer. Other than the pure enjoyment of playing through the title again, there would be nothing new to discover. Still, the game is relatively long and should take an average gamer a good number of hours to complete. I think it's worth a purchase as opposed to a rental and have no reservations recommending this title to those that enjoy this type of adventure...it's extremely well done!

In some ways I was a little let down by this game. I think that the whole point of GEX being a gecko was lost. Aside from this, though, the gameplay was fun and addictive. I found myself playing just one more level over and over. GEX is the ultimate smart-ass and you have to admire that. I think most people will get a kick out of this game and enjoy playing it for a long time. Platform fans will have to have the controller pried from their hands.

Gex: Enter the Gecko should have been a much better game. They certainly jacked enough concepts from Mario 64 to warrant a good game, but the atmosphere surrounding the gameplay really brings it down. I'm hesitant to call it a good game, but one thing's for sure - it's better than Croc.
