“Gubble” isn’t that original or polished a diamond in the rough as I would like, but it’s got a simple premise (remove the screws/nails preventing a cute little alien from going back home) that it executes quite well. Graphics are barely-passable and some of the BGM tunes wouldn’t be out of a place at a young Jewish man’s bar mitzvah, but the digital control is tight. Worth the $10 if you can stand looking at watered-down PC graphics on your TV screen.

The PSone version is increasingly difficult to find almost anywhere, but the PC title is still floating around the net for anyone who is curious. A bunch of levels and some pretty hefty challenges in the later stages delivers a good deal of play times. Simple, wholesome fun - now go eat some apple pie.

This game isn't great, but it does carry its charm. It's fun to see how truly outrageous the concept is as well as for the cheese factor which is up there. This game is a great way to kill 15 minutes or so but won't last too much longer than that. It is an OK game from a ho hum budget company at least.
