Absolute Playstation
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to shrink in size and then actually take part in a video soccer game? Imagine marching on the field of play and as captain you must command your players and lead by example. It's certainly offers a different angle on the game and is probably as close to the real thing as a video game could be. Hey, maybe while in your polygon state you could nip over to Core Design and get off with Lara Croft. Now that would be an experience worth commenting on. We were promised that this game would include a link-up mode but sadly this feature was missing. Shame!
Despite these minor gaffes, the game is still, possibly, the most revolutionary soccer game to be unleashed on the gaming public. Never has anyone approached soccer from this perspective, which makes this game such a treat. For anyone who eagerly scours the import gaming scene, it would be a worthy investment to pick up this soccer diversion. Libero Grande is, without a doubt, an unapologetic arcade soccer experience, making no pretenses to heavy stat-tracking or any of that kind of tomfoolery. Instead, it offers great soccer gameplay that you won't find anywhere else.
Perhaps Libero Grande could act as a benchmark of sorts, proving that new ideas can work… but only if the right engine is developed to handle it. As it stands, this is just a mess!
