Lucky Luke: On the Dalton's Trail

With the price of the PlayStation being so low these days, the console is no longer considered a luxury item afforded only by the older gameplayer. The average owner is becoming younger all of the time and at last companies are starting to provide titles aimed at this audience. Speaking personally I would have preferred the difficulty level just a little harder, or the levels quite a bit longer. The graphics on some of the levels are fantastic and the soundtrack is one of the best I have come across. The game combines so many different game types that there is guaranteed to be something in here for everyone.

Med 14 nivåer och tre bonus-scener att spela igenom är inte Lucky Luke ett speciellt omfattande spel. Pusslena är också lite i enklaste laget. De går oftast ut på att hitta en nyckel eller att skjuta på en bit rep för att gillra en fälla. Spelet riktar sig i första hand till de lite yngre spelarna och en del kommer utan tvekan att finna det en aning för lätt. Men visst har det sina knepiga stunder. Svartklädda skurkar dyker upp i tid och otid, och de tvekar inte en sekund att försöka fylla dig med bly från sina hederliga gamla sexskjutare. Blir du träffad för många gånger, bär det raskt av till den lokale begravningsenteprenören, som i sann västern-anda inte kan vänta på att få dig under jord. Kanske Tillfälligtvis Tursamme Luke skulle ha varit en bättre titel.

No hay mucho más que decir, el juego tampoco da para ello, por lo que terminaremos este breve pero conciso análisis. El juego no resulta lo suficientemente adictivo, ni innovador, ni interesante, ni divertido ni "ná" como para llegar a convencer a la mayor parte de los usuarios, por lo que sólo los fans de Lucky Luke disfrutarán con él. No llega a ser un truñazo, perdonen la expresión, pero ni siquiera llega a despertar interés suficiente para que los usuarios de una PSX lleguen a jugarlo, y ni mucho menos a comprarlo.
